Ho'o pono pono: I love you. I'm sorry. Please forgive me. Thank you.

From Rev. David McArthur (edited by Mike McGuire, not reviewed by the speaker)

You have the power.  Dr. Hew Len, in Hawaii, healed so many patients that the ward was closed in just three years. He did this without therapy. He did it by working on himself, using Ho'o pono pono.  We believe what is out there is a reflection of what we have within. If it is in your world it is a part of you. If you don't like what you see, you can clean it out. You have the power to change it.

To transform.  The divine always expresses to us in wholeness and harmony. You cannot hold back the divine wholeness within you, the perfection which is you. So when something shows up, use these four steps. However, while thinking them might make a difference, it will not transform you. To transform, instead of saying “I love you”, feel it. Thinking is nice, but doing the loving is transformative.

1st is “I love you.” FEEL it, if you want transformation. Your love goes to that part of yourself that is out-picturing the disharmony. The part of you which is divine love goes to it, too, and has all the power. It is waiting for you to ask.

2nd is “I'm sorry.” FEEL free to let go. If you remain in your head, your head will give you all the reasons “they” were wrong. Reasons don't matter here. Have the willingness to let go. “I didn't mean to create disharmony.” This is repentance.

3rd is “Please forgive me.” FEEL the deep desire for freedom. The disharmony has no place in your life anymore. Ask the divine presence to remove it, to free you fully.

4th is “Thank you” and it is easy. We FEEL fully the appreciation for, and complete acceptance of, what is given.

God will heal anything in your heart. She will remove any limits, if you want to feel better.

A NASA rocket was hopelessly off course. It had no self guidance system, and one of the scientists knew they had no control. She went to prayer. She had done some Ho'o pono pono work before, so she called Dr. Len in Hawaii who does the “unseen” work. With his guidance, she told the rocket, “I love you”. They worked the four steps of Ho'o pono pono, and the rocket self-corrected!

What are you one with? Ask yourself. —That amazing power!

Thank you!”

Experience gratitude for omnipresent goodness

“If you pour your words of faith into the omni-present substance, you will be prospered though all the banks in the world be closed.” --Charles Fillmore.

Our journey to prosperity thus far has outlined 6 steps. Today they are united in the 7th step.

The 6 steps are 1) be clear of your purpose, which is defined by your passion-- those things that are important to you. The Universe is as committed to your success as you are, providing all that you need to manifest it. 2) by healing and forgiveness, clear away that which blocks your success from coming to you. 3) jump into the flow of God's giving nature by your giving, your tithing. 4) Attune to God's goodness through the power of prayer. 5) since that which we affirm with our focus is manifested, strive to live complaint free. Use your powers for good. 6) our caring actions bring into manifestation the love of God in this 3D world.

The 7th step is to express your gratitude for God's goodness even in the face of challenges. Do not thank God as a victim, however, and bring on more of that. Instead, knowing that there is no thought of lack in God's mind, when we perceive a limitation, as Spritual beings, we know there is something good, something wonderful and whole coming. Often we can't see it, but we know it's got to be there. “Thank You, God, for the goodness that is there that must come forth.” Facing challenges, if you are willing to let God's goodness flow in and through your life, say, “Thank You, God!”

Circulate abundance

Here are the steps we have covered so far for bringing abundance into your life this year.

Step 1. Go into the Silence. “Seek ye first the kingdom of God.” Affirm “God is my instant, constant, abundant supply."

Step 2. Attune to your purpose. Make your choices in your heart; follow your passion.

Step 3. Open to receive. Remove those blocks to your abundance by freeing yourself through forgiveness. Unburden yourself. “Divine Love lifts me, frees me, and prospers me.”

This week's lesson:

Step 4. Expand the flow of good in your life through giving. “As you give it is given to you.” Everything is God's after all. But it is not ours to give all. Our abundance is to be used with wisdom. Seek guidance to find what is yours to say “yes” to. The greatest tool for expanding your flow is tithing. It is the acknowledgment that God is your source. It is acknowledging the beautiful goodness that is flowing in you, through you, creating and expanding your physical world. It is knowing that God is your partner. Even loss is God coming through. Yet loss is minimized and gain maximized. Bring your highest perceptions through into the physical. Become an instrument for transformation in the world. And tithing is saying, “Thank You God!”

Attitude of Gratitude

This is a warm part of the year, despite the approaching winter season. I'm referring instead to the Holiday Season, when we take the time to warm up to those near and far from us. It is so appropriate that it begins in earnest with Thanksgiving. How important it is to recognize our gifts and give thanks.

Being grateful is more than an obligation or an opportunity to repay kindnesses, however. It is an opportunity to re-align ourselves with God's grace. Of course, God's love is always flowing to us and through us, but so many times we are oblivious, even hostile. An attitude of gratitude keeps us turned to the light, open to participate fully in the flow of love and life around and in us. Rather than miss it, we are then aware of the good that is coming to us.
“Today is the perfect day to appreciate the many blessings in my life. I pray a prayer of thanksgiving, expressing gratitude... I stop for a moment to give thanks... I am blessed beyond measure.” Daily Word — November 26, 2009
So stop for a moment. Notice your heart beat is like the beat of the sacred drum which gives thanks for all that we have, for all that we are. Your heart beats out “thank you, thank you, thank you...”

The Power of Thanksgiving

You know this amazing power because you have used it many times. You have felt the transforming experience of your deep gratitude for something in your life. It may have been your heart recognizing the beauty in a moment with a special friend, or receiving the blessing of a break-through that you had long desired. It may have been as simple as feeling the warm sun on a crisp fall morning, or the touch of a little one’s hand in yours.

When your heart opened to that very special feeling of thanksgiving, you felt uplifted, blessed, renewed and filled with hope. Even if it was a dark rainy day, you felt an inner glow.

The power that lifts us, opens us and blesses us is the presence of Divine Love. When we experience true thankfulness, the power of Spirit flows into our lives. In that sacred moment we have opened to consciously perceive God’s goodness. That goodness desires to pour itself through our lives in every moment. The feelings of thanksgiving have the power to open our lives to this unlimited goodness.

Appreciation

The second most powerful force in the earth… is “appreciation!” It is impossible to feel it or express it too much. The deeper you go into the consciousness of appreciation, the more you will behold the infinite life that right now is flowing into and through you.

Appreciate for a moment your body, with its amazing organs and systems, and your mind, with its miraculous capacity to perceive and understand life. Appreciate the constant provision for your material needs that are being met every moment.

You can appreciate the things in your life that bring deep fulfillment, your family and friends, the capacity to understand, heal hurt, comfort another and receive support. Yet there is more—even more amazing gifts: of your life itself, your eternal soul, your oneness with Divine life and intelligence, the amazing love that enfolds and lifts you every moment, every choice, every experience for eternity.

To appreciate is to reach into the infinite and find it is already in your own heart.

Giving Thanks

What are the treasures in your life now? Do they include a special person that you can share with? Someone who accepts you just as you are? Is there a child, young or grown, who brings that special warmth to your heart when you think of them? Do you remember being touched by the smile of a stranger or that special glow in your heart when you were enjoying being with good friends—their laughter, their thoughts, their presence? Are there quiet moments of serenity that your heart treasures?

I was recently filled with joy at smelling wood smoke from a neighbor’s chimney. It awakened memories of hauling firewood, fireplaces on snowy days and cozy evenings with the delicious smells of family meals. I looked in at a gathering of people in our Center and saw their joy as they were eagerly learning of the great wisdom spread through the world’s religions. What a delight to see the richness of their understandings. I listened to our musicians as they shared their gifts with us last Sunday and treasured both the beauty of their talent and the joy it gave them.We are so richly blessed. There is so much to appreciate in our lives each day. As we treasure the amazing quality and beauty of the simple things that fill our lives, we open the door for God to pour ever greater goodness into our receptive hearts. Thanksgiving isn’t just a day—it’s the only way to really live.
